Pig Breeding Complex of "Titan-Agro" continues refreshing genetics of the livestock

In October, a separate subdivision of "Titan-Agro" LLC, the pig breeding complex "Petrovsky", received a rearing stock of Genesys genetics pigs. Totally 144 animals were purchased to renew the livestock.

On October 23, as part of the annual pig population renewal programme, the rearing Genesys stock was brought into Pig Breeding Complex "Petrovsky" from JSC "Niva", a pedigree breeding unit of Krasnodar Territory. Pig Breeding Complex "Petrovsky" integrated 132 pure-line Yorkshire pigs and 12 pure-line boars of Duroc and Landrace breeds into the main stock.

Breeding animals of this breed have some of the best production characteristics: stress resistance, fertileness and animal yield livability, good health and excellent meat taste.

Such a renewal of the livestock allows the agro-industrial company of the GC Titan to keep breeding and genetic progress in the herd at a high level.
